Canon PowerShot SX60 HS Review

Looking at the world through a new eye

Whenever I go through my childhood pictures with my mother I always complain,’ Mother why didn’t you make any videos of me running or jumping or talking?’ It’s amazing how times have changed. The era where our parents grew up in the only way they could capture their time was through taking pictures and that too in black and white. While when we were growing up the concept of cameras had been introduced to everyone and we now have our baby pictures and pictures of our childhood in colour BUT what’s amazing now is that you can make a video of every move every word every little detail through a small lens! Isn’t that just incredible? And so a beautiful invention was created by Canon called The Canon PowerShot SX60 HS that is going to turn your world upside down!

The Canon PowerShot SX60 HS is one of the more costly superzoom cameras available. Its 65x focal point covers an extraordinary zoom extend, the 16-megapixel sensor is equipped for catching pictures in Raw format and also 1080p60 video, and CHECK THIS OUT it has its Wi-Fi. YES I will repeat it again it has got Wi-Fi. Although it is expensive but if you want to capture every little thing then this camera WINS! Saying that it’s hard to monitor a moving subject when zoomed to a 1,365mm view is wrong.

Like all cameras in this class, the SX60 HS looks a great deal like a SLR. It’s only in black colour but who doesn’t like black?  There’s a hot shoe and viewfinder, and when its zoom focal point is withdrawn, it isn’t that much littler than the pack focal point included with passage level SLRs. The SX60 measures 3.6 by 4.5 by 5 inches (HWD) and weighs 1.4 pounds. to top that of it has a camera lens of 60x. Incredible, right?

Canon PowerShot SX60 HS has a framing assist function that can easily see everything. So for instance let’s say you are focusing on a plane flying you just need to hold the button down which helps to push back the lens and you can see everything on the box on the live view feed.  Once you release the button the lens comes back to its original position. WOW. It helps to make videos better and fun for you because you can make a video of everything and anything with clarity whether it’s a flying bird or a person sitting on the bench. The best part is that you can easily upload the pictures that you take from Canon PowerShot SX60 HS to any social site whether its Facebook or YouTube or even twitter. All you need to do is to connect it to the network and VOILA you are IN! There’s no in-camera GPS, but if you enable the CameraWindow location logger, you can add location metadata to photos over Wi-Fi—just be sure that the time on your phone and camera are synchronized.

With its 65X optical zoom lens and 16.1 CMOS sensor you can literally even record the sound of a heartbeat. It’s just unbelievable. Although this camera is great I would suggest looking into some of our other articles before making a final decision.
